 BioGRID available on PSICQUIC |

| BioGRID interaction data can now be accessed programmatically from the Protemics Standard Initiative Common QUery InterfaCe (PSICQUIC) web service - see http://code.google.com/p/psicquic/ for more information. Please note, the data available on this web service conforms to the PSI-MITAB format and has MI ontology terms and not BioGRID evidence codes. A future implementation of PSICQUIC aims to allow all information contained in PSI-MI 2.5 XML to be accessed, which will allow retrieval of BioGRID evidence codes. |

| The BioGRID's curated set of physical and genetic interactions has been updated to include an additional 1,548 interactions. These additions bring our total number of non-redundant interactions to 169,723 and raw interactions to 248,950. New interactions will be added in curation updates on a monthly basis. | New BioGRID Cytoscape Plugin Available |

| The BioGRID Cytoscape Plugin can be downloaded from www.thebiogrid.org/downloads.php or http://www.cytoscape.org/. It has been developed to make it simpler to import data from BioGRID .tab files into Cytoscape, and to allow multiple redundant interactions (evidences), represented by a single line in a .tab file, to be imported into Cytoscape as a single edge with multiple evidence code and publication annotation. | Statistics Correction in Version 2.0.57 Release |

| The BioGRID update 2.0.57 has an issue with duplicate interactions appearing in our download files, which resulted in incorrect statistics for the month of October. We have corrected the problem for our November 2009 release (2.0.58) but please be advised that our 2.0.57 download files may contain some duplicate interactions but they are all valid, just duplicated. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
